Today's the day - TC and the other candidates give their speeches tonight, and then the polls are open! They stay open until Saturday night, and the votes are counted on Sunday, so we should know by Sunday night what our fate will be...

My gosh, I got nervous just reading the post. I didn't realize you had to go through that to get living quarters! (Though I do realize this is a bit more than an apartment!

Actually, the living quarters are only incidental. He's running for the position itself - it just happens that in order to hold this position, he needs to live on-site, so if he wins we'll have to sublet our place for a year and move there.
We still have our apartment, though, and if he doesn't win, we'll just stay where we are.
Though we may show up at your doorstep just for the fun of it :)
